The Negro League was formed in 1920 behind the powerful message that baseball players from Black heritage backgrounds would not be discouraged from professionally playing the sport they loved.
The success of the League swept the sports community and proved the Black players were equal in talent with their White counterparts and drew the same passionate interest in baseball from fans across the world.
The Negro League launched the careers of many great players, including Jackie Robinson, who would ultimately bridge the gap to the Major League and go on to become Hall of Fame legends in the sport.
New Era honours those teams and athletes that drove the sport forward through their passion and love for the game with the Negro League collection.
